Paris Unusual
My dear readers,
Summer holidays is my favorite time in Paris. I discover the capital from a new angle. The sun is at the rendezvous, traffic decreases and the terraces are quieter.
I like to walk around at dawn when the city is still sleeping. I admire its architecture which seems to me purer. The streets are calm and you can enjoy a light that is omnipresent.
In summer, the city of Paris offers many activities: sports activities, open-air cinema, visit sites or museums... or simply take a good book and relax in the Parisian parks!
The Luxembourg Garden, the Tuileries, the Buttes Chaumont or the Parc Monceau... Paris does not lack greenery to rest and disconnect! Do you know, my kind readers, the Parc Montsouris? It is surely one of the wildest parks in Paris! With its huge lawn and pond lined with weeping willows, Montsouris Park is ideal for a nap in the shade of a tree or to do his sport along the beaten track!
Bucolic ride
I remember a summer shared with Mlle Inwood in this capital of love. We stayed during all the holidays in Paris to explore the city and discover its most unusual places!
Small wooded streets, hidden squares, surprising churches, mysterious corners... Paris is full of surprises!
That summer, I discovered La Coulée Verte located in the 12th arrondissement. This walk that connects the Bastille area with the Porte Dorée and the Porte de Vincennes is ideal to forget the din of the city and relax in nature.
Also called the planted promenade, it is located along the old railway line of Vincennes line closed since 1969. You will have the chance to overlook the capital for a good part of your ride because the course is about 7 meters at above the streets!
The Green Casting is compared to the "highline" of New York, which is largely inspired!
This bucolic walk will allow you to enjoy a moment of relaxation in the heart of nature while renewing your point of view on Paris!
See you soon!
