The MoMa in Paris

A New York Autumn

My dear readers,

Let me share with you an exhibition that I had great pleasure to discover « Being modern – The MoMa in Paris ».

For the sake of our eyes, the New York Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art is partnering with the Louis Vuitton Fondation, the famous building of Frank Gehry, until the 5th of March 2018.

« Being Modern » unveils 200 grandiose works that retrace the history of modern art from the perspective of the MoMa collections. From Jasper Johns to Yayoi Kusama, the American exhibition offers us a long trip around the world with the masterpieces of must-see artists.

I stay for a long time in front of the design of the famous architect Mies Van der Rohe and I remember the skycraper that he realized located in a prestigious place of New York, the Midtown quarter.

I close my eyes and I fly to New York, the fascinating and captivating city that is familiar to me.

Previous life

The arrival of the MoMa in Paris is something exceptional for me, during a Parisian visit I once again discovered New York.

I dreamed of New York well before knowing it, its architecture fascinated me and I discovered it to know if it corresponded to the dream that habited to me. I also dreamed of Paris where everything began.

My dear readers, my first agency of interior architecture is at the « Big Apple » that I owe it!

Thanks to these two cities, I realized my dreams that seemed impossible to me and when I dream of New York, I like to remember the quote of Simone de Beuvoir: « There is something in the air of New York that makes sleep unnecessary. »

See you soon!
