Re united world
My dear readers,
I always had a strong attraction for this World cities, symbol of globalization as Paris, London, New York or Tokyo.
The cultural and economic power, ethnic and architectural diversity are what gives, for me, a so incredible dimension to this cities which seems never sleep.
But you may have understand, it is about Paris I will talk. Since Middle-Age, there was many movement of people coming from cross-countries to participate to the economic development of the city and do of Paris the city it is today.
There was also a huge internal migration after the crisis in some regions of France. Today, it’s seems to be only 30% of Paris inhabitants who are parisians, the others coming from everywhere. It’s thanks to that Paris became Paris, a cosmopolitan city open on the entire world.
It is by this melting-pot that we can find today the atmosphere of all continents in the same city, spread out in different districts. Whether you want to eat, shopping, meetings of any cultural or sportive activity, everything is possible and we can live and find a similar ambiance we can find everywhere else.
This blending may not be perfect, it is –like many things in life- to see the things with a good eye and a positive way to know how to enjoy the richness of its lessons.
For a traveller like me, who had the opportunity to cross the continents, I can ensure you that when we want to bring to light the best of ourselves and others, we just have to believe in it and act this way. To illustrate it, I propose you a melt of a Tibetan and a Benjamin Disraeli quote: “Travel is a return to essential that learns tolerance”.
See you soon!
